Details
A band of two-tone 18k gold, rose meeting white across the shoulders, set with a field of pavé natural diamonds that traces the mashrabiya geometry around the finger. The rose warms the skin, the white lifts the diamonds, and the pattern reads as light caught in a carved screen rather than a line drawn on metal. The ring is named for Mimar Sinan, the chief Ottoman architect of Süleymaniye and Selimiye, whose discipline of pattern runs through the collection; the mashrabiya is the broader Islamic tradition of the carved screen, here rendered in stone and gold. Worn alone the pavé carries the whole hand. Stacked with a slim plain band, the rose and white find a third tone between them.
